The Hawthorne Tennis Club is pleased to have four beautiful courts for the use of residents and their guests as well as a practice wall. Two courts are even equipped with lights for nighttime play. The Club also has racquets and balls for loan to residents and their guests if they don’t have their own equipment.
Use of the courts is available at no cost. Round robin open play for all skill levels is held each morning 
depending upon the time of year. Potential players should consult the monthly Activities Bulletin for the current schedule of open play. Courts are also available for private play any time that they have not been previously scheduled. Weekly schedule sheets are located on the bulletin board next to Courts 1 & 2. 
The club also sponsors a competitive team of players, which compete from time to time with other senior residential communities.
Monthly club meetings are held the first Thursday of each month during the months of October through April of the following year. Additionally, various fundraising events are held throughout that time period to fund expenses of the club.
