Getaway Gang Travel Club
The Getaway Gang Travel Club of Hawthorne was founded in 2024 with a simple but exciting mission: to bring residents together through the joy of travel.
A hallmark of the club is our monthly meeting with a travel presentation highlighting exciting destinations and opportunities, along with complimentary refreshments, door prizes, and a 50/50 drawing.
Every year, the club hosts the annual GETAWAY TO THE SUNSHINE cruise to the Caribbean in January, where members sail away to sunny beaches, turquoise waters, and unforgettable experiences. Members can also participate in our GETAWAY TO THE GLACIERS cruise to Alaska in July 2026 and additional destinations in 2027 and beyond.
Throughout the year the club organizes multi-day motorcoach tours throughout the region and, for those who prefer shorter getaways, we also plan day trips to museums, theatre performances, and local attractions.
MEMBERSHIP
