Pickleball Club members play on three newly surfaced courts. Each court is fenced off, which allows continuity of play without interference from other courts. The Club has over one hundred members, both male and female, with varying degrees of skill. It is easy to learn and fun to play and is the fastest growing activity among retirees.
Pickleball is played with a paddle and a perforated plastic ball. Ball placement is more important than power. Club members pay a small annual membership fee.
Three tournaments are held each year in March (Men’s, Women’s and Co-Ed). Free lessons are given from October through March. Meetings, grills, fundraisers and an annual picnic/pool party are among the off court activities. Club news is communicated to each member via e-mail as well as posted on the bulletin board at the court.
Come enjoy friends and learn a great game.
